9/17/2023 0 Comments Galonne pocket serial numbers![]() The engine turned detail to the case back is still nice and crisp, and there is an elaborately framed cartouche to the back, with a knight’s head incorporated into the design. The case is in lovely condition with just the odd minor mark. There are Swiss hallmarks inside the case back, together with the early Omega stamp. The watch has a galonne case which means it is 800 silver with a rose gold wash around the bezel and also around the edge of the hinged case back. The watch itself measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which is also signed and it has details of medals won at the Paris Grand Prix trade exhibition in 1900. The movement is signed Omega and the serial number, 3,605,537 which is underneath the dial, dates the watch back to around 1910. The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
